Australian synth-pop band are heading on the road with the batch of tour dates across greatest cities of the U.S. Cut Copy are the rock band focused more on such music genre, as electronic, indietronica, or dance-punk on their compositions. Originally, the band were formed in the city of Melbourne in 2001, and its main creator became Dan Whitford. At the very beginning, Cut Copy consisted of such members, as guitarist/sampler Tim Hoey, bassist Bennett Foddy and drummer Mitchell Scott. However, due to some reasons, for Bennett Foddy 2007 was the last year of being in the group. Eventually, the new member of the band became bassist Ben Browning.
Through the joint band’s efforts, their first long-play was released in 2004, under the title "Bright Like Neon Love". In general, Cut Copy’s debut LP was highly acclaimed both by music critics and by fans. Recently band issued their fifth studio album 'Haiku from Zero' on September 22, 2017, and in the upcoming North American Tour they will mainly support sophomore LP. 'Haiku from Zero' include such popular singles, as ‘Airborne’, ‘Standing in the Middle of the Field’ and ‘Black Rainbows’ and more. Beginning March 2 in Phoenix, AZ at McDowell Mountain Music Festival, Cut Copy will be on their ‘Haiku From Zero Tour’ 2018 through June 2, where it will end in the city of New York, NY at Governors Ball.
