They rose to prominence after their debut single ‘Stolen’ from the fourth studio album Dusk and Summer, reached number 44 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in April 2007. This helped the alternative and indie-rock band to issue further LP called ‘The Shade of Poison Trees’ through Vagrant Records, but after that, the band was a bit of a silence.
Now, all Dashboard Confessional fans over the world will be able to enjoy a lot of positive emotions, as the band will release its first album in 10 years.
The upcoming LP will be titled ‘Crooked Shadows’ and the release date is scheduled for February 9, 2018. By the way, Dashboard Confessional recently dropped the first single from the ‘Crooked Shadows’ – and this is the song with the brand-new sound called ‘We Fight’:
You can observe, that the band slightly moved to other styles and genres in music, make the sound’s quality better. So, the Dashboard Confessional Group are ready for a grand tour across North America, which began in Salt Lake City on December 4th. Next shows will be in such cities as Tulsa - December 6, Saint Louis - 7th. Later there will be a small break, after which the band will continue the treck with two more shows during January in the cities of Philadelphia and Wilkes-Barre. A further continuation of the tour will be scheduled to take place in the spring of 2018 in cities such as Dallas, Orlando, Brooklyn, Asbury Park, Cincinnati, Grand Rapids, Seattle, San Diego, and others. Hollywood, CA at Hollywood Palladium, on April 21, will be the last in the list of tours of the alt-rock band.
