Brooklyn-origin indie-rock and experimental pop band bring us closer to the release of their new extraordinary album, which is due to arrive on July 13.
Dirty Projectors helmed by Dave Longstreth are preparing for the release of their upcoming eighth studio album titled ‘Lamp Lit Prose’, which follows up band’s 2017’ eponymously titled LP.
This time, Dirty Projectors had collaborated with a slew of remarkable artist including Syd, Empress Of, Amber Mark, Haim, Rostam, Robin Pecknold, and Dear Nora. ‘Break-Thru’ is the first taste Dirty Projectors' fans are getting for the forthcoming record. Just a few days ago, the phenomenal and mind-blowing composition was presented with no less exceptional an eye-catching video. There is a lot of glitches here, there are sounds of some bubbles and working 3D printers, different quotes, parts of band's old songs. Too many questions and the answer is only one: the director of the video is Sean Pecknold.
Catch the Dirty Projectors grandiose performances during their tour, which will begin on May 12 in San Diego, CA at Music Box venue and cruises through June 30 in Houston, TX at White Oak Music Hall. On the run of tour dates will also be Arcosanti, New Orleans, St. Louis, Toronto, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Calgary, Salt Lake City and more.
