Recently, the Glasgow indie-rockers Franz Ferdinand presented a new stuff, which turned out to be an astonishing and full of optimism single called "Always Ascending". The great news is that the single actually is the tittle-song for a new album of the same name, which is also on the way. Always Ascending album is prepared for the release on February 9, 2018. Moreover, the indie-rock giants Franz Ferdinand share the dates of a new Tour across Nothern America with an aim to support the newest record.
As a matter of fact, the album will be produced by the talented French electronic expert Philippe Zdar, who generally is known by great works with Cassius, Phoenix, The Beastie Boys. He will definitely add some electronic elements to the indie-rock and makes the sound more interesting.
We recommend you to listen to a new single Always Ascending by Franz Ferdinand and think about how great would be the father compositions. Because we already can't wait for the date of its release.
Always Ascending album will be the first full-fledged work of musicians since the release of the album "Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action" in 2013 - except for the joint project with the Sparks band, named FFS.
It's worth noting that, one of the founders left the band in July 2016, and it was the guitarist Nick McCarthy. Nevertheless, in May 2017 the participants gathered in a new composition and continue the work in that way.
The upcoming tour is scheduled to begin in Toronto, ON at Rebel on April 8, and will continue to be held in such cities as Boston, Washington, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Dallas, Los Angeles and many others. The last stop on the list of Indie-rockers tours will be the city of Oakland, CA at The Fox Theater on May 17. A full list of dates and cities can be viewed below.
