Recently, the band released their sixth studio album called ‘Luciferian Towers’ on 22 September 2017. Godspeed You! Black Emperor are embarking on their North American headlining tour throughout December, January and March. Beginning December 16 in Houston, TX at Paper Tiger, GY!BE will be on their ‘Luciferian Towers’ Tour through March 24, where it will end in the city of Washington, DC at 9:30 Club. As a matter of fact, since their debut, Godspeed You! Black Emperor have opened a chapter in post-rock as musicians that have broken up all previous thoughts about the music. As a consequence, they brought unpredictably fascinating sound with no boundaries and rules. First of all, Montreal’s post-rock band are famous for the ‘Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!’ album, which was issued in 2013. Speaking of, this LP was awarded a victory of 2013 Polaris Music Prize.
