As stated, Lissie is moving quick to return to the road. She'll kick off her initial touring in support of her brand-new album Castles. Rock Island-based country-rock singer only picking up traction and gradually getting more and more recognition among fans and music critics around the globe. Lissie's fourth Castles just came out earlier this week and singer is already eyeing a pretty heavy tour schedule.
Beginning April 25 in Louisville, KY at Waterfront Wednesday, Lissie will be on her Castles Tour 2018 through June 7, where it will end in the city of Manchester, TN at Bonnaroo. Lissie is taking the high voltage show to major cities across the United States including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Evanston, Toronto, Cambridge, New York, Philadelphia and more.
Lissie's sophomore LP Castles is followed up 2016’ My Wild West. During recording, the singer made some trecks with old My Wild West-collaborators Julian Emery, Martin Craft, Jim Irvin and Curt Schenider. Moreover, former bass player for the Band of Horses - Bill Reynolds along with AG and Liam Howe helped Lissie in the making-off new album.
For the account of the title of the castles album, the singer gives the following explanation: during her life, she was forced to move from one city to another very often, which was undoubtedly frustrating. Consequently, Castles is a metaphorical image of Lissie, which finally found its permanent place of rest and harmony.
