Machine Head is a heavy metal band from Oakland, California, which is considered to be one of the first bands of a new wave of American heavy metal. The band was founded in 1991 by Robb Flynn and Adam Duce. In January 2018 they are preparing to release a new album 'Catharsis'. And starting from 25 January they are supposed to have the first concert in Arizona.
The band's previous album was released in November 2014 entitled Bloodstone & Diamonds. After the release the band went on a world tour visiting America, Europe, Japan and Australia. The album received positive reviews from both fans and critics. Many people connet it with the arrival of a new bass guitarist, Jared MacEachern who replaced one of the band's founders - Adam Duce.
Bloodstone & Diamonds debuted at #21 on The Billboard 200 chart, becoming the band's highest charting album ever. It is worth reminding that the last song "Is There Anybody Out There?" by Machine Head also Became on the top of Active Roch Chart in August 2016.
