Music for Doing Sports - The Ultimate Playlist

Music is doping - it pushes your limits while doing sport. We've put together the best workout music for every taste.

Music is an essential motivator. Regardless of how well you feel now, the productive workout mixed with good music are guaranteed to allow you to feel even better. Euphoria and positive emotions after jogging appear due to the production of hormones of happiness - endorphins and endocannabinoids.

Whether jogging or fitness: headphones and good music are part of many of the training equipment. Nevertheless, does that really make us more productive? Sports scientists and psychologists have been measuring for a long time whether music stimulates us during sports and even influences how exhausted we feel.

Indeed, a British scientific research demonstrates that runners with jogging music are willing to run around 15 percent longer than without it. Other studies also show that amateur athletes do more with faster music. During individual training sessions, they felt less exhausted when they heard the music. In the long term, the sounds motivate a more disciplined workout schedule.

In addition to the well-known motivational music for sport, there are also its special varieties. For example, Tabata music is considered one of the brightest types of music, which is specifically designed to improve the quality of the sport.

If you like short but intense fitness sessions, you can really work out well with Tabata. It works on the principle of maximum tension with maximum effectiveness. The four-minute workout puts you at the edge of your burden - and is the ideal fat burning program. It also improves your stamina. The Tabata training goes back to the Japanese scientist Izumi Tabata, who conducted a study in the 1990s on the effects of moderate capacity and intensive interval training. He found out that the interval method strongly stimulates fat burning in the body and thus leads to success faster and more effectively than classic cardio training. The Tabata training lasts only four minutes and is correspondingly intense. It works well to burn fat and improve endurance.

Tabata makes the conventional fitness methods strong competition, especially because a lot can be achieved in a very short time. In just four minutes, Tabata offers fast, yet highly powerful training for the entire body. Tabata training is a particularly intensive type of high-intensity interval training. Based on scientific evidence, this type of training is an effective complement to traditional endurance training. Turn on your headphones, mobile or iPod and you're ready to go. At the beginning of the coach counts down to one, on "Go!" It starts with the first exercise. They will do this for you (20 seconds) until your coach announces the break. After ten seconds, the next exercise starts. During the training, you will not only hear which lap you are in at the moment. The Tabata music, which accompanies the entire workout, adapts to the rest and training phases. This will allow you to rest during the breaks and be cheered on during the exercises with fast music.

A well-chosen playlist of your favorite songs allows you to make workout longer and, as a result, more effective and powerful.
