Illinois-based alternative country singer best known as the singer and guitarist of the band Wilco is heading on the road with an announcement of the new run of tours dates. Jeff Tweedy will bring new shows to the largest U.S. cities during 2018 April and September.
It should be noted that the singer started his career with the Uncle Tupelo band during 1987-1994, then starting from 1995 and until now he is the frontman of the Wilco band. However, Jeff Tweedy has always wanted to do the solo activity. The first attempts were in 2014, which ended with 'Sukierae' release, joint work with Wilco, and Jeff 's son, Spencer. By the way, every 50-year-old singer's work was mainly focused on such genres, as alternative country and alternative rock. Finally, Jeff Tweedy start the ball rolling and found the time to implement his first solo album, and it became 'Together at Last' dated June 23, 2017. In support of the new album, the singer will go on tour across North America and Europe.
Beginning April 5 in the city of Royal Oak at Music Theatre venue, Jeff Tweedy will be on his North American Spring Tour 2018 through April 20, where it will end in the city of Saxapahaw, North Carolina at Haw River Ballroom. In addition, the singer will perform with his group at High Water Fest on April 21 and his annual show at Chicago's Vic Theater on April 27 and 28.
