Approaching the release of new studio record 'Wide Awake!' and Shaky Knees Festival appearances, Brooklyn origin indie rockers presented fresh single 'Mardi Gras Beads' and mapped out their 2018 U.S. and European tours through the fall.
Parquet Courts, the band comprised of A. Savage and Austin Brown on vocals/guitars, Sean Yeaton on bass guitar, and Max Savage on drums, will be releasing their seventh full-length album, Wide Awake!, worldwide via Rough Trade on May 18.
'Mardi Gras Beads' is the first taste Parquet Courts fans are getting for the forthcoming LP. Just a few days ago, the band presented this song with an eye-catching video captured in New Orleans and directed by Brother Willis. Watch it below.
With an aim to support new music pieces NYC post-punks will tour the central and southwestern U.S. before heading to Europe for a series of theater and festival shows in July.
