Starset are hitting the road with new Tour
After dropping their new album, space rock band Starset have announced that they will be hitting the road for a full U.S. tour next year with new shows. Alternative rock stars are taking the high voltage show to major cities across the United States including Reading, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, Lincoln, Portland, Sacramento, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and more.
The group's leader, Dustin Bates, was previously involved in a project called Downplay, but now he is making every effort to develop the Starset group. The new collective performs compositions softer, more tender, more elegant. More attention is paid to the melodic component of the tracks. Each instrument not only accompanies the vocalist but performs an independent part, which could easily become a solo. Starset style can be called as a melodic alternative metal.The performances of the band are another unique feature as they are purely in cosmic stylistics: all the musicians are dressed in cosmic costumes and this is all accompanied by the appropriate attributes and movements.
The Starset was formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2013. The debut album ‘Transmissions’ was released a year later - in July 2014. The album quickly gained a confident position both on radio and in sales, making Starset one of the most successful musical bands in 2014 and 2015. Over the past two years, the group has organized several large-scale tours, having played more than 350 concerts both in the US and abroad. The group presented the second album 'Vessels' on January 20, 2017, confidently launched at 11 positions of Billboard 200. The first opening show will be held in the city of Charlotte, NC at The Underground on January 28. New Yorkers can catch the trip at The Highline Ballroom on January 31. Finally, the concert in the city of Columbus, OH at Express Live on March 16 will be the last one on the tour's list.
