After announcing supporting part of the Nothing More Tour, the progressive metal band adds more dates for their Headlining 2018 Tour. Step by step this Indiana-based band moves to more higher success. This autumn, The Contortionist showed themselves in a little bit another shade by producing fourth album Clairvoyant on September 15, which is not comparable with the previous ones.
As a matter of fact, the band's sound became softer, moving from strong screamed vocal parts to the more smooth melody, mostly in the genre of progressive rock. In the beginning of the next year The Contortionist will support the massive tour of the prominent hard rock band Nothing More, and right after that, the band will go to their Headlining North American Tour.
The trek is scheduled to begin in the city of Berkeley, CA at the Cornerstone venue on March 4. The band, in general, will visit 25 U.S. cities with their shows, including Portland, Seatle, Denver, Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Boston, and more. All things are wrapping up in the band's native city of Indianapolis at the Deluxe venue on April 6. In addition, the Contortionist band will be supported at various points on the road with them by such musicians, as Silent Planet, Skyharbor and Strawberry Girls.
