Weezer are the classical alt-rock band that became legendary due to their authentic style and deep-spirited hits since the 90's. Absolutely similar by temper and mood are the rock band Pixies, which as the same quickly became a favorite for many listeners. Pixies are most famous by their LP ‘Surfer Rosa / Come on Pilgrim’ (1988) and particularly for the song ‘Where Is My Mind?’, which became the soundtrack to the Fight Club movie and many other films. By the way, Pixies have had a tremendous impact on the development of alternative music of the 90's, including such groups as Nirvana, Radiohead, Blur, and Weezer.
For Weezer and Pixies it will be the first joint tour in their history, so do not miss such an important event. The groups will delight their fans with songs from all their career, the duration of which deserves a big respect, as they were entrenched on the stage since the early 90's. Additionally, Weezer and Pixies are bringing Wombat at various points on the road with them as supporting acts throughout the tour.
Weezer recently released The Black Album, 2017, which followed The White Album, 2016.
Weezer and Pixies will tour throughout whole summer of 2018, beginning with a show in Tampa, FL at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on June 23.
