Angel Olsen is excited to finally get back on the road and ready to crush the stage every night with his first North American solo Tour in four years.
St. Louis origin 31-years old indie-rock singer previously collaborated and performed with alternative-country performer Bonnie 'Prince' Billy as a back vocalist. Since 2012, Angel is actively involved in a solo endeavor, where she can reveal herself as much as possible. From that time frame till now, Angel Olsen has released 3 studio albums: Half Way Home in 2012, Burn Your Fire for No Witness in 2014 and My Woman in 2016.
Each music pieces is exclusively made by singer, as well as music video, which is totally laid in her authorship. ‘Shut Up Kiss Me’ is Olsen’s one of the most remarkable videos, which was also made by herself.
Last time Angel Olsen appeared on the tour was only in 2014 and last her work is 12 B-sides rarities compilation titled 'Phases' and released in November 2017. Angel’s Olsen sophomore effort exhibits a starkly contrasting concept while staying true to the singer’s approach to studio work.
Today, the full routing of Angel Olsen headlining tour was revealed. Right after a batch of European shows and few U.S. festival appearances including David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption, Angel Olsen North American Tour will kick off on September 7 in Big Sur at Henry Miller Library and wrap up on September 29 in North Adams, MA at Mass MOCA venue.
Moreover, Dick Stusso, Hand Habits and Julianna Barwick will support singer on various points on the road. See below for all currently confirmed tour dates.
