Two greatest well-known hard rock bands are taking high voltage show to major cities across the United States and Canada with the expressive 27-date schedule. The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll and the Godmother of Punk has the creative activity that spans over 43 years. Joan Jett had initiated her career with the revolving girls band The Runaways, which turned into famous by iconic single-manifestation for real rebel 'Cherry Bomb'. Starting from 1979 and till now, she has been playing in her band Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, who are best known for such hits, as "I Love Rock 'n Roll" (1982), "Light of Day" (1987), "I Hate Myself for Loving You"(1988) and more. Joan Jett during all her life path was regularly in the top of Billboard’s charts and till now she doesn’t lose her inner force of rock ’n’ roll. Illinois-based progressive rock band Styx will join Joan Jett and together they will make truly classic rock acts with ’80s metal outfit Tesla in tow. Styx recently released their sixteenth studio album 'The Mission' on June 16, 2017. As a matter of fact, it's the first band's work since 2005' 'Big Bang Theory'. On the way of iconic rockers will be 27 cities scheduled for summer 2018. The first show in the US will be on May 30 in Irvine, CA at FivePoint Amphitheatre and the final stop will complete tour on July 15 in the city of Holmdel, NJ at PNC Bank Arts Center.
