An extremely charismatic indie rock band are preparing for the release of their ‘Little Dark Age’ album and announce North American tour dates to support it. There is only a short time remaining for issue date of the fourth studio album ‘Little Dark Age’ by revolving MGMT band. Album will be available on February 9, 2018.
Perhaps, ‘Little Dark Age’ will open a new mysterious and inexplicable page in the musicians’ history, and previously published new singles from the sophomore LP confirm this. For example, brand-new compositions ‘When You Die’ and ‘Little Dark Age’ clearly revealed lead vocalist Andrew VanWyngarden and songwriter Benjamin Goldwasser as musicians of such style as gothic rock and neo-psychedelia plus something unique.
The above-mentioned compositions touch upon the deep themes of life and have a general mystical mood, however, remain at the same high level of MGMT. Little Dark Age will be the successor to the 2013’ MGMT album, which ranked 2nd in the US Top Alternative Albums (Billboard) in 2013.
MGMT aim to visit Europe with the show's lineup in late January and February, after which the musicians will begin their tour across the U.S. in the city of St. Paul, Minn. at Myth venue on March 2. All MGMT fans will be able to catch extraordinary band’s concert around North America during March and May. On the way, there will be such cities as Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Vancouver, San Francisco, San Diego, and many more.
A complete list of tours and dates will be placed below. A final show by MGMT band in support of their ‘Little Dark Age’ LP will complete North American tour in the city of Tempe, Ariz. at Marquee Theater venue on May 20. After that, MGMT will still be featured at several summer European festivals in June and July, including the Firefly Music Festival, the Down Rabbit Hole Festival, the Festival Beauregard, the Mad Cool Festival and the Milan Summer Festival.
A few days ago, the band presented another single, "Hand It Over", taken from ‘Little Dark Age’ album.
