Talented Thom Yorke , the leader of the Radiohead alternative-rock band, is actively engaged in side projects. The latest Radiohead's album 'A Moon Shaped Pool' was released in 2016.
Now the singer is running on his solo tour. He recently decided to include another three dates to his tour. These lucky cities are Los Angeles and the concert at the Fonda Theater on December 12, Oakland and the concert at Fox Theater on December 14th.
In addition, there will be a festival in Houston with a name ‘Day for Night Festival’ which is scheduled for December 5th. Yorke's tour will be assisted by his old collaborators Nigel Godrich who was a longtime producer of Radiohead along with audiovisual artist Tarik Barri.
An important point here is that the second solo Yorke’s album ‘Tomorrow's Modern Boxes’ is going to be reissued. Nigel Godrich, who always helps the singer, played an important role in this project adding more innovative sound to the album. But Yorke's vocals and his piano will sound as usual. Quite unusual was to give the sound of the container to the tracks of the album, but in Tom’s hands, any sound can become a masterpiece.
By the way, when ‘Tomorrow's Modern Boxes’ was released for the first time in 2014 - the number of its downloads on BitTorrent broke all the records, with a number of more than four and a half million for just one month. This is not surprising because, as you know, Thom Yorke from the beginning of his career in strongly attached to the principle that music should available to everyone for no charge. Just two weeks ago, a new clip was released under the title "Lift".
