Los Angeles-based metal core and gothic metal band In This Moment continue to broaden the horizons of their creativity by regularly making new top-drawer stuff. However, the singer of the band In This Moment decided to go even further: Maria Brink unveiled her idea of creating a solo album.
Here's what an extravagant singer said about this: "I'm starting to slowly write, no hard plans. I'm not exactly sure when I'm gonna do it, but it'll be more of the obscure, intimate, quiet side of me. It would be just me and a piano and one dress and candles all over the whole stage."
However, before Maria Brink takes up her project, she along with her team have a lot of activities. The band plans to play concerts across Northern America for the first time in six months and at several European festivals in June. As a matter of fact, recently, the band dropped their new sixth studio album LP ‘Ritual’. The composition 'Roots' is a composition from the band's last LP, issued in July via Atlantic Records, in collaboration with another landmark studio, Roadrunner Records. The invited guest on the disc was none other than Rob Halford of the band Judas Priest, who sang the song 'Black Wedding'. Maria Brink in her performances use the most explosive insulting images with which her vocals and screaming combine successfully. Charismatic and vibrant, unique in its own genre - she will give you a lot of unforgettable emotions.
